After Yale College and Columbia Law I spent three years in the Navy, mostly on Guam, and then eight years practicing business law at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in Manhattan, then 23 years at Revlon, Inc., the latter as General Counsel and then Executive VP for Administration. In 2002 we took a flier on California and I spent three years working in Napa and living in St. Helena, at the north end of the valley. We loved California, and are now in Montecito, where the weather suits our clothes.
I studied under Charles Kingman, AWS, and have painted off and on since college and plan to get much more into it now. In Manhattan I was also on the Board and an officer of The Acting Company, the country's premier touring rep company, and I'm a member of The Central Park Conservancy. I have a wonderful wife and four great kids scattered from Manhattan to Florida to southern California.
All net proceeds of sales of these paintings will be donated by the artist to Grace Episcopal Church, Bridgehampton.
